How does the program work? Riders (or friends and family members) will select an eligible horse to sponsor. Several people can sponsor one horse in order to reach the goal amount. Each horse will have a goal of $450. This expense will cover their vaccines, sedation and dental, as well as a fecal exam. This expense does not cover any medications and special veterinary work that may also be required. The expectation is to have teams formed by Sunday, October 5th!
How many horses need sponsors? We have a total of 18 horses that need sponsors! Please consider sponsoring a horse that maybe you don’t know as well.
What if a horse doesn’t need a dental? Although all horses will need vaccines and a fecal, some horses may not require a dental. It is anticipated that most of horses will. The $190 for that expense will go to an overall fund to purchase medication for three of our long-term “health problem” horses, as well as diagnostics needed for one of our senior horses. You can view these horses under their bios when selecting an eligible horse.
How will we be raising funds? You will not be limited to how you raise your funds. You may seek out donations from family and businesses. We will proudly post on social media any business that supports the cause! You may do food sales, calendar fundraising, bake sales, etc. Â
What is the best part of this Fundraiser? Well, besides the horses getting the best care, sponsors will get a picture with their horse, posted on social media (with permission) and be entered into a special contest to receive some awesome goodies!
What is the special contest? The highest earning horse team members will EACH receive a special package of gifts and social media recognition. The TOP EARNER of the fundraiser will receive a package of special gifts, social media recognition, one month of free group lessons (4 lessons), and photo shoot with their sponsored horse, as well as their favorite horse-!
How do I register to become a sponsor? Â Text Ashley at 804-712-6660 to register.
